LadysActiveFashions.com pledges to donate 5% of profits to charity! We have chosen to split 5% of our profits between two nonprofit organizations, Soroptimist International of the Americas and Soroptimist International of Phoenix. The owner of the company is a long time Soroptimist member, and feels passionately about helping other people and giving back to the community. These two organizations were chosen because Soroptimist International's goals are to "make a difference for women and children, all over the world". The programs supported by these foundations help women to better their lives and the lives of their children through education, mentoring, domestic violence assistance, and many other efforts.
In addition, this pledge is meant to challenge other companies to develop and support community service efforts within their own communities. LadysActiveFashions.com hopes to set an example to be modeled by both large and small companies to help make a positive impact in other peoples lives. Lori Reed, the company's owner, says "Come on, take the challenge! Even the smallest efforts can make a big impact." She encourages companies and their employees to choose an issue to support and dedicate both human and financial resources to it.
